Rose is te zien in de nieuwe horror film ‘The Sound’ die later dit jaar uitkomt, de trailer en enkele stills en een poster van de film zijn inmiddels al verschenen.
A sales trailer and some new stills have emerged for the upcoming Rose McGowan (Scream, Grindhouse) horror film, The Sound, directed by Jenna Mattison. In the film, McGowan plays a skeptic and specialist in “acoustic physics” (is that a thing?) who, after years of debunking supernatural bumps in the night, may have discovered the real thing.
Produced by the Canadian team who brought us Allan Ungar’s 80’s action throwback, Gridlocked, this time they’ve joined forces with The Ring and Ring 2 executive producer Michele Weisler.
Synopsis:
KELLY (Rose McGowan) is a writer and a skeptic of the supernatural. As a specialist in acoustic physics she uses low frequency tactile sound-waves to debunk reported paranormal activities for her online blog. When presented a new case of a supposedly haunted subway station Kelly sets off to uncover the truth behind the hoax that involves a 40-year-old unexplained suicide. Her investigation takes her deep into the abandoned station where her skepticism is tested. As Kelly ascends into the depths of the metro’s darkness she is confronted by an unforeseen evil. In the vastness, she must face her own haunted memories to find the truth and surface back into the light. The Sound also stars Christopher Lloyd (I Am Not a Serial Killer), Michael Eklund and Richard Gunn.
Watch for The Sound later in 2017.
