Hemlock Grove star Landon Liboiron, Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco and Cody Horn are starring in Burning Bodhi, which will be directed by Matthew McDuffie, who also wrote the indie drama.
Virginia Madsen and Sasha Pieterse also will appear in the movie, which begins shooting in Albuquerque this week.
The script centers on a young man (Liboiron) in his 20s who learns that Bodhi, one of his best friends from high school, has died suddenly of an aneurysm. He heads back to his hometown in New Mexico and finds that in addition to dealing with Bodhi’s death, he has to iron out his many issues with friends and family, both past and present.

In addition to his role in Hemlock Grove, Liboiron was one of the stars of Terra Nova and Canadian TV sensation Degrassi: The Next Generation. He is repped by WME, Principato-Young Entertainment.
For the past seven seasons, Cuoco has starred in TV’s long-running hit The Big Bang Theory; she also is in the Screen Gems comedy The Wedding Ringer, with Kevin Hart and Josh Gad, to be released Jan. 16, 2015. She is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Hansen Jacobson.
Horn’s credits include End of Watch and Magic Mike. She will be shooting the Magic Mike sequel this fall. Horn is repped by Paradigm and Untitled Entertainment.
