Shannen Doherty is heading back to school to pursue a college degree in liberal arts.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210, star has signed up to front an advertising campaign for online organisation Education Connection and, as part of her new role as company spokesperson, she’s furthering her own learning and encouraging fans to follow her lead.
In the promotional video, she says, “I’ve played the girl-next-door and the girl-not-so-next-door. I’ve produced, I’ve directed, but now I’m doing something I’ve always wanted to do for me – I’m on my way to getting my college degree.

Milo weighed 7 pounds and is 19 inches long!
This is the first child for Alyssa and Dave, who married in 2009. Dave is a talent agent at Creative Artists Agency, while Alyssa most recently starred in ABC’s 2010 sitcom Romantically Challenged.

Rose heeft een rol gescoort in de film ‘The Pastors Wife’, opnames van de film zijn op 11 juli al begonnen in Vancouver, Canada.
Michael Shanks: “Doing a TV movie with Rose McGowan (Conan the Barbarian, Charmed) called The Pastor’s Wife. Based on a book, true life story etc.. I play pastor Matthew Winkler. Rose will play my character’s wife, Mary Winkler. If you read about the story, the synopsis becomes self evident.”

The Drew Peterson Story
The duo will star in The Drew Peterson Story, based on the nonfiction book about the alleged killer.
Rob Lowe is going from playing Parks And Recreation‘s lovable boss to a man awaiting trial for the slaying of his third wife in Lifetime’s TV movie The Drew Peterson Story.
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Lowe will play Drew Peterson, a charismatic, womanizing Chicago police officer that was charged with the death of his third wife after the mysterious disappearance of his fourth wife.
The Big Bang Theory co-star Kaley Cuoco will play Peterson’s fourth wife, Stacy, whose disappearance put the spotlight on him.
Based on Joseph Hosey’s nonfiction book “Fatal Vows: The Tragic Wives Of Drew Peterson”, Judith Verno (The Craigslist Killer, Natalee Holloway) will executive produce the telefilm being written by Teena Booth (Natalee Holloway). Peace Out Productions will produce.
After following up on tips from a neighbor, authorities arrested Peterson and indited him for the death of his previous wife, Kathleen, who in 2004 was found drowned in an empty bathtub. Peterson has denied involvement in both cases and is awaiting trial.
Lowe is repped by WME and Brillstein Entertainment. Cuoco is with SDB Partners and Brillstein.
Key Party
The female face of The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco has signed on to star in the forthcoming movie Key Party along with Seth Meyers. The film was written by Meyers but as of yet is without a director. Key Party is expected to be released in 2013.
Key Party is a comedy which centers around a couple who are having difficulty in the bedroom department. The lovers decide that they need to spice things up a bit, so decide to attend a Key Party, which ends up destroying what’s left of their marriage.Kaley Cuoco has been a regular star of hit comedy TV show The Big Bang Theory and is expected to be there along with the rest of the gang, when they are certain to be up for a few Emmy’s. Kaley can next be seen in the movie The Last Ride, which is a biography about the last days of Hank Williams and is due for release later this year.
Army Wives
Drew’s serie Army Wives is door Lifetime vernieuwd voor een zesde seizoen! Drew zal ook bijna zeker dan weer in de serie te zien zijn. Seizoen 6 is in het voorjaar 2012 te zien op de Amerikaanse zender. Wanneer Net5 verder gaat met het uitzenden van Army Wives is nog onbekend, hier zijn wij blijven hangen bij seizoen 2 :(
Pretty Little Liars
Ook Holly’s serie Pretty Little Liars is in Amerika opgepakt voor een nieuwe seizoen. Het tweede seizoen van de populaire serie is daar enkele weken geleden al begonnen. Helaas voor de Nederlandse en Belgische is er nog steeds niets bekend over een eventuele release in Nederland en Belgie :(
Big Bang Theory
Kaley’s serie The Big Bang Theory is ook vernieuwd voor een volgend seizoen. Seizoen 5 zal op 22 september van start gaan op de CBS. De series is van ma-vrij om 20:00 te zien op Veronica.

Het heeft wat langer geduurd dan ik dacht, maar de afgelopen 2 dagen heb ik de galerij geupdate met zo’n 600 recente foto’s van de castleden.
