Drew Fuller’s serie Army Wives is door het Amerikaanse netwerk Lifetime afgelopen maand vernieuwd voor een 5de seizoen! In 2011 zal de serie in Amerika weer te zien zijn met tenminste 13 nieuwe afleveringen.
Lifetime has renewed Drop Dead Diva and Army Wives.
Drop Dead Diva, starring Brooke Elliot as a model who dies in an accident and comes back as a plus-sized lawyer, will return for a third season. The ensemble drama Army Wives will report back to duty for Season 5. Both shows return with 13 episodes in 2011.
Drop Dead’s Jackson Hurst: Diva is no chick show
“Army Wives and Drop Dead Diva have led Lifetime’s charge in scripted programming and are key components to our success,” Lifetime Networks President Nancy Dubuc said in announcing the renewals Thursday. “We are so happy with these two special programs and are excited to pick them up for new seasons, which allows us to launch our next generation of scripted series.”
Both series performed strongly for Lifetime earlier this year. Army Wives’ Season 4 finale bowed to 3.91 million viewers in August. More than 2.6 million viewers tuned in for Drop Dead Diva’s season finale last month.
