After getting a message from the spirit board to not trust Harry (Rupert Evans), the sisters are conflicted and ultimately concoct a plan to see if he is telling the truth. Desperate to believe the person warning them is trying to protect them, they end up going against their better judgement. Harry soon realizes that the sisters are up to no good and tries to help before it’s too late. Meanwhile, this new sisterly unit is not fully unified, with Mel (Melonie Diaz) and Macy (Madeleine Mantock) struggling with who’s the real big sister and Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) caught in the middle.

Vanessa Parise directed the episode written by Jessica O’Toole & Amy Rardin (#102).

Penned by Jessica O’Toole and Amy Rardin and created with Urman, the Charmed reboot centers on three sisters (Melonie Diaz, Madeleine Mantock, Sarah Jeffery) in a college town who discover they are witches. Between vanquishing supernatural demons, tearing down the patriarchy and maintaining familial bonds, a witch’s work is never done.

Hargrove plays Parker. President of the Phi Delta Upsilon fraternity, Parker is the quintessential upper-class pretty boy with a wild streak and a sensitive side. His charm and confidence catch Maggie’s (Jeffery) eye when he defends her from a rude customer at her waitressing job.

The sisters must make the decision to accept their new destiny as The Charmed Ones…and their new duty to protect humankind from the demons that walk among us…one of whom killed their mother. ‘Jane The Virgin’ actrice Gina Rodriguez zal aflevering 1×11 van de nieuwe ‘Charmed’ serie gaan regisseren. Eerder regisseerde ze al een aflevering van haar eigen serie, maar dit wordt haar debuut voor een serie waarin ze niet zelf te zien is. Ze zegt het volgende over haar nieuwe baan bij ‘Charmed’:

“I’m very excited about that opportunity and obviously very excited that I get to do it with three Latinas. It’s really f—ing awesome. It’s going to be really exciting to see what that journey is.”

Acteur Craig Parker die eerder in de CW serie ‘Reign’ te zien was is gecast in de rol van Alastair Cain. Hij is de directeur van Morningstar Biotech en draagt daarmee bij aan het labratorium van de Holltowne Universiteit waar Macy werkt. Craig Parker, who previously stirred up trouble on Reign, will appear on the network’s upcoming Charmed reboot, TVLine has learned exclusively — and trust us, he’s got plenty more trouble to stir.

An updated version of the classic series, which ran from 1998 to 2006 on The WB, Charmed follows three young women — sisters Mel (Melonie Diaz) and Maggie (Sarah Jeffery), along with half-sister Macy (Madeleine Mantock) — whose lives are forever changed when they learn of their destiny as three of the most powerful witches the world has ever known. In addition to solving their mother’s murder, the Charmed Ones use their abilities to battle the forces of evil. The new series premieres on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 9/8c.

Parker will play Alastair Caine, the CEO of Morningstar Biotech and a benefactor of the Hilltowne University laboratory, which happens to be where Macy (Mantock) works. A charismatic businessman, Alastair will wreak a bit of havoc in the girls’ magical and personal lives.

As fans of the original series may recall, a chameleon demon by the name of Alastair appeared in a Season 4 episode titled “Brain Drain.” A spy for the Source (of all evil), Alastair was vanquished by his master after failing to take out the Charmed Ones. It’s unclear whether the reboot’s Alastair is also on the Source’s payroll, or if the name is purely coincidental.

In addition to Reign, Parker’s small-screen resume includes notable roles on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Spartacus: War of the Damned and Legend of the Seeker.
