Rose McGowan moet binnenkort voor de rechter verschijnen. De familie van een bejaarde vrouw heeft haar aangeklaagd omdat ze vorig jaar door de hond van de actrice zou zijn aangevallen.
Het slachtoffer eist miljoenen dollars aan schadevergoeding.

De hond van McGowan sprong in juli tegen de 85-jarige vrouw op toen ze de viervoeter op straat aansprak. Ze viel met haar hoofd op de stoep, brak haar schedel en liep ernstige hersenbeschadiging op.

McGowan noemt het voorval tegenover TMZ “een triest ongeluk”, maar volgens haar is ze niet verantwoordelijk. “Het was een samenloop van omstandigheden”, zegt ze. “Ik zou willen dat deze oude vrouw nooit was gestopt om mijn hond aan te spreken maar het is gebeurd.”

Rose McGowan heeft eerder deze week scheiding aan gevraagd van haar man Davey Detail met wie ze drie jaar geleden trouwde .Onoverkoombare verschillen heeft ze als reden opgegeven, daarnaast staat in de paperen dat ze sinds mei 2015 al uit elkaar zijn. Ook wil Rose volgens de papieren geen partneralimentatie betalen aan haar toekomstige ex-man en vraagt de rechter die toe te kennen. Hun eigendommen zullen ze buiten de rechtbank om verdelen.

Rose McGowan has filed from divorce from her husband of nearly three years, Davey Detail (born David Leavitt).

The Charmed actress cited irreconcilable differences as the ultimate reason she and the visual artist (and soon-to-be ex-husband) called it quits, in the paperwork filed in Los Angeles earlier this week.
E! News obtained the court docs, which also shows that McGowan is asking the judge to reject any requests for spousal support from Detail. She also listed their separation date as May 1, 2015—meaning they were together for one year and a half since separating.

The 42-year-old star also notes that the two have appeared to divide their assets outside of court.
