Rose heeft de rechtzaak tegen Harvey Weinstein verloren. In de zaak die ze ook aanspande tegen 2 van haar voormalig advocaten, bedrijf Black Cube Strategies en een Israelische privé spion claimde dat ze actief tegenwerkt is om de waarheid over Harvey Weinstein en haar verkrachting door hem in 1997 te onthullen in haar boek ‘Brave’. De zaak is door de rechter verworpen omdat Rose wijzigingen die ze van de rechtbank in haar aanklacht moest doen niet op tijd heeft gedaan/doorgeven aan hun.
Rose McGowan lost her suit against Harvey Weinstein claiming he and others colluded to prevent her from publishing rape allegations in her book when a judge tossed the case Monday.
The “Charmed” actress filed a California federal racketeering lawsuit in 2018 against the disgraced movie mogul, two of his former lawyers and private Israeli spy and intelligence firm Black Cube Strategies, claiming an alleged conspiracy to ensure her 1997 rape claims never saw the light of day.
Judge Otis Wright on Monday dismissed her whole case after she failed to amend her racketeering claims as he had instructed her to do in a November decision that found the claims failed to show “a pattern of racketeering activity.”
“Out of the public glare, with proper time, legal work, evidence and facts, this is the way we believe they will ultimately all go,” Weinstein rep Juda Engelmayer said, referring to the slew of other lawsuits his client faces.

Rose heeft de afgelopen maand enkele interview gegeven in de media. Zo liet ze onder andere weten waarschijnlijk nooit meer in Amerika te gaan wonen, ze is blij nu zich permanent in Mexico te hebben gesetteld. Ook denkt ze niet meer dat ze ook in Amerika nog gevraagd zal worden voor een acteerklus, omdat dit achter de schermen tegen wordt gehouden.
Alyssa heeft in een interview laten weten hoe haar relatie met Shannen er nu voorstaat. Ze verteld dat ze hartelijk met elkaar omgaan. Ze heeft spijt van de strijd die er op de set van ‘Charmed’ onderling was en dat ze haar meer zag als competitie dan een zus toen der tijd. Hier heeft ze nog wel schuldgevoelens over. Ondanks dat ze niet supergoed met elkaar omgingen nam Alyssa wel contact met Shannen op na haar kankerdiagnose enkele jaren gelezen.
“I would say we are cordial, You know, I could take responsibility for a lot of our tension that we had. I think a lot of our struggle came from feeling that I was in competition rather than it being that sisterhood that the show was so much about. And I have some guilt about my part in that. When I heard about her diagnosis, I reached out to her, And I will send her DMs every couple of months to just check in.”
She continued, “I have respect for her. Great actress, loves her family so much, and I just wish I could’ve felt strong enough in who I was to recognize that back then.”

Ze benoemd dat ze weet dat Rose haar niet mag en zich eroverheen moet zetten.

Op een vraag van een fan op twitter hoe het zit met een reuniefilm van ‘Charmed’ die gepicht zou worden bij Netflix laat Alyssa weten dat dit niet meer op de planning staan. Alhoewel ze het idee nog steeds super leuk vind laat ze weten dat er inmiddels te veel gebeurt is tussen haar en Rose om dit mogelijk te maken.
Rose riep instagramvolgers op om te bidden voor haar hond Perlita die gestoken zou zijn door een insect waarna ze ernstig ziek werk en haar zenuwstelsel aangevallen werd. Ze kreeg de hond in maart 2020 als emotie-support hond omdat ze vaak nachtmerrie had. Ze heeft inmiddels laten weten dat het weer beter gaat en het uiteindelijk bleek te gaan om een chemische vergiftiging.

Rose McGowan is asking for prayers for her sweet dog. On Monday, the actress, 48, shared a short message on Instagram about a severe health issue affecting her pet. “We need all prayers to all Goddesses and Gods right now, please. Perlita has been stung by something that is attacking her nervous system. We need all good thoughts. Gracias,” McGowan wrote. The post included photos of McGowan’s pooch Pearl with a bandage around her paw, as well as an old clip of the dog roaming around the beach.
In the comments, many of McGowan’s followers and fellow stars shared well wishes for Pearl. McGowan didn’t provide any additional information on the dog’s health. The actress first introduced the pup to her followers in March 2020, revealing that she got Pearl as an emotional support animal. “Since I’ve had her only a few nightmares have woken me up sweating and shaking, it used to be 2-3 times a night. It’s an amazing feeling to not have night terrors. I know a lot of you can relate,” she explained on Instagram at the time.
She also told her followers that Pearl isn’t a rescue dog like her four other furry friends, but still urged people to adopt their pets. She also noted that she donates monthly to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. I am so grateful this little being has come into my life as a healing force for good. I intend to make every one of her days happy,” she added.

Rose McGowan, o.a. bekend van de serie Charmed, had een hele belangrijke rol in de #MeToo-beweging. Zij was namelijk een van de eerste bekendheden die Harvey Weinstein beschuldigde van aanranding. Nu haalt McGowan ook uit naar Oprah Winfrey.
Zo deelde de actrice een zeven jaar oude foto, waarin Oprah de in ongenade gevallen producent op de wang kust. Dit gebeurde tijdens de Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. Het kiekje is hieronder te zien.
McGowan deelde de foto op haar Twitter, met de volgende tekst: ”Ik ben blij dat we eindelijk achter de lelijke waarheid van Oprah komen. Ik zou willen dat ze echt zo is zoals iedereen haar ziet, maar dat is gewoon niet zo.”
“Ze was goed bevriend met Weinstein en heeft de slachtoffers van Russel Simmon niet alleen in de steek gelaten maar ook kapotgemaakt. Het enige waar zij voor staat is het steunen van een ziek systeem, alleen om er zelf beter van te worden. Ze is zo nep als ze komen,”

Simmons is een Amerikaanse ondernemer, platenbaas en medeoprichter van het hip-hop-label Def Jam Recordings. Sinds 2017 gaat het echter hard bergafwaarts met zijn carrière, aangezien heel wat vrouwen Simmons hebben beschuldigd van seksuele intimidatie, aanranding en zelfs verkrachting.Hier verscheen een documentaire over, genaamd On the Record, waar Oprah ook aan zou meewerken. Zij verliet echter het project, iets wat veel mensen niet goed begrepen. De bekende talkshowhost en actrice is nu ook onder vuur komen te liggen, nadat oude clips online zijn opgedoken, waarin Oprah Dolly Parton interviewde over plastische chirurgie en haar strijd tegen depressie.
Alyssa heeft na een video op TikTok toelichting gegeven waarom ze niet langer spreek met Rose. Nadat ze liet weten dat Phoebe Halliwell één van haar favoriete personages is ze co-ster Holly als enige nog regelmatig spreekt vraagt een fan om uitleg. Hierop liet ze weten dat Rose in het verleden publiekelijk pijnlijke dingen over haar en haar familie heeft gezegd en dat dit de reden is waarom ze elkaar niet meer zien of spreken. Verder laat ze weten dat ze nog wel om Rose geeft en hoop dat zij rust en troost vind. Hierop wordt waarschijnlijk de publiekelijke ruzie via twitter bedoeld over de Me-Too beweging en hun publieke voorkeuren in 2020.

While on TikTok this week, Alyssa answered some of the “most frequently asked questions” about her career. After saying that Phoebe Halliwell from “Charmed” was one of her favorite characters, Alyssa was asked if she still speaks to her co-stars, including Rose, Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty.“I speak to Holly,” she responded.
A fan then pestered, “Care to explain why you don’t talk to Rose?? Of course not!!”
Unflinchingly, Alyssa wrote back, “Because she’s been publicly very hurtful to me and my family. Simple as that. Love her always though. I hope she heals and finds solace.”
The spat between the women isn’t exactly news, as they’ve publicly feuded in the past. TooFab points out that the women had it out for each other on Twitter in 2020 over politics. Rose then accused Alyssa of profiting off the #MeToo movement — which Rose called “my movement” —and of creating a “toxic” environment on “Charmed.”
“You co-opted my movement, the Cultural Reset, for fame, jealous of me for outing my rapist,” Rose tweeted. “You made 250k per week on ‘Charmed.’ You threw a fit in front of the crew, yelling, ‘They don’t pay me enough to do this s—!”

Actor Rose McGowan is showing support for Britney Spears following the pop icon’s explosive conservatorship testimony. For those unfamiliar, on June 23, Spears spoke openly to a judge and lawyers about her conservatorship, which has been in place since 2008 and gives legal control over her life and finances to others, most notably her father. The Glory singer asked the court, plainly and explicitly, to end the conservatorship, saying, “It’s my wish and my dream for all of this to end without being tested.” She then outlined instances of abuse and manipulation she says she’s endured over the last decade, including not being allowed to have her IUD removed. “This conservatorship is doing me way more harm than good,” she said. “I deserve to have a life.”
Now McGowan, the first woman to come forward about Harvey Weinstein’s abuse, is speaking out in support of Spears, and her comments are going viral. The actor and activist appeared on Fox News on June 23 and commended Spears for her testimony, calling it a “cultural reset.”
“[Britney’s] father put her under a conservatorship at age 25,” McGowan said. “Many in the media laughed and scorned her when she shaved her head. I lived in Hollywood during that time, and I’ve made it my life’s mission to tell all of you out there what so many of you know deep down: that fame and Hollywood and the media machine are rotten to the core. They do hurt and they do damage.”
In regards to the testimony, McGowan said, “What happened today is literally a cultural landmark moment. It is a cultural reset. [Spears] got to speak for the first time, I believe, in her life, honestly and openly. What has been done to her is horrific. I know it seems like, ‘Why should we care about a rich pop princess?’ But I think it’s deeper than that.
“I think she’s ready to blow the lid,” McGowan continued. “She said today she’s ‘so angry, it’s insane.’ I understand that kind of rage. I was the first to go on the record about Harvey Weinstein and that kind of sickness, the people that are truly putting your entertainment in your head. And while we’ve all been entertained by Britney Spears, she’s been being tortured.”

Zo veroordeelde ze vice-president Kamala Harris ervoor dat ze samen met hem in het openbaar verschijnt – een beschuldigde aanrander en platste foto’s van een naakte Clinton die een massage kreeg waar in ze verwijst naar Jeff Epstein. Hierop werd haar account geschorts, Rose vind dit niet kunnen en vind dat haar hiermee de mond wordt gesnoerd. Rose moest de aanstootgevende tweets verwijderen om weer toegang te krijgen tot haar account.

She also shared an image of a naked Clinton being massaged by an unidentified woman on a bed, captioning it “Photo taken on Epstein Island.”
The “photo” was actually an art piece by British artist Alison Jackson, whose other realistic-looking artwork includes unflattering depictions of former Presidents Donald Trump, Barack Obama, and John F. Kennedy, as well as the British royal family.
That image prompted McGowan’s suspension from Twitter over its non-consensual nudity policy, specifically for “sharing privately produced/distributed intimate media of someone without their express consent.” Read More
